Crowne Plaza, San José

The official hotel for the Copa del Café is once again the Crown Plaza Hotel San José La Sabana, located in Sabana Norte, next to the General Cañas Highway, and approximately 5 km from the tournament site, the Costa Rica Country Club.

Note: It is the responsibility of the players, coaches, and parents to make the hotel reservation.

IMPORTANT

  • Meals will be provided by the Tournament Committee only for players who remain in the main draws of singles and doubles, and for their respective official coaches named by their Federation.
  • Breakfast will be provided by the Corobicí Crowne Plaza Hotel.
  • Lunches and dinners will be served at the Costa Rica Country Club, in the second-floor area, beginning Sunday night.

Please remember to specify that you are participants in the Copa del Café to receive the special rate.

  • Transportation from the airport to the Corobicí Crowne Plaza Hotel and, upon departure, from the hotel to the airport will be the responsibility of each player or coach. The hotel offers transportation service for approximately US$15 per person if arranged in advance.
  • Another option upon arrival is to take an official taxi (orange color). These are located as you exit the airport building. They are safe, reliable, and cost approximately US$25 to the hotel for multiple passengers.
  • These taxis also include minibuses suitable for 4 or 5 players and their equipment, making it more economical per person.
  • Any official taxi driver knows the location of the Corobicí Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sabana Norte, San José.
  • Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the Country Club at scheduled times that will be posted. Taxis will also be available from the hotel.

Rules of Hospitality

Hotel hospitality for the tournament begins on the evening of Sunday, January 12, 2025 for players in the main draw and for official coaches nominated by national federations in a timely manner and accompanying their national team, with a maximum of 2 coaches per federation, one for boys and one for girls. Players and coaches participating in the Qualifying Tournament must pay their own lodging. Hospitality will end the day after the player’s elimination from the tournament (singles and doubles) and includes lodging and meals (breakfast at the hotel and lunch and dinner at the Costa Rica Country Club).
