The 60th Copa del Café Main Draw will be played in 2025 from 13 to 18 January. For this year the Copa has had 203 registrations all told for Boys, and 221 for Girls, from 54 countries. Since each Main Draw is for 32 players and the Qualy for 32 as well, the registration is greatly oversubscribed. This means stellar tennis talent again for 2025.
As of this writing, just after the free withdrawal date for players, the Boys field rankings start at ITF 100 for top seed Dante PAGANI of Argentina. Three of the top 5 boys in the ITF listing return from last year and the best WTN in the field belongs to Jack SATTERFIELD of USA with a very solid 13.04. The cutoff for slot no. 24 in the Boys roster has been a rank of 279.
The Girls listing includes 7 top 100 players, headed by Kaitlin ROLLS (world no. 20, WTN of 15.98) from USA who repeats from 2024 along with 2 other returnees in the top 6. Fifteen year old Julieta PAREJA of USA ranked 91 and 6th on the list has the best WTN rating in the field by a strong margin at 12.44. The Girls cutoff at no. 24 has a ranking of 291. These numbers for both rosters are very solid, especially considering that the 60th Copa is going head to head with the Australian Open juniors in terms of dates.
